Work Management System (WMS) gives Power Users a comprehensive view of all legal requests. This guide walks through how to view, manage, update, and collaborate on request cards in the WMS.

Switching Between Board and List Views
Coheso’s WMS supports both a Kanban-style board view and a list view for requests. To toggle between views:
Locate the View Toggle: At the top of the Work Management Board, find the view toggle icons. Click the Board icon to see requests organized in columns by status, or click the List icon to see requests in a list view.
Switch Views: Click the desired view icon. The board will instantly switch to that layout. In Board view, requests appear as cards under status columns (e.g., New, In Progress, Complete). In List view, requests appear as rows with sortable columns. This flexibility lets you choose the view that’s most convenient for your workflow.

Updating Request Status by Drag-and-Drop
In Board view, Power Users can easily update a request’s status by dragging its card to a new column. Here’s how to manage requests with drag-and-drop:
Drag the Card: Click and hold a request card that you want to move. For example, if a request in the “Not Started” column is now being worked on, drag that card to the “In Progress” column.
Drop into New Status: Release the card over the target status column. The card will appear in the new column, and the request’s status field updates automatically to reflect the change.
Confirm Update: The system will update the request for all users. Team members (Power Users) will see the card in its new column immediately.

Editing Request Details
Power Users can edit request details directly from the Work Management Board, via the expanded request view. To update fields on a request card:
Open the Request Card: Click on a request card to open its expanded view. This shows all the request details, including description, attachments, assignee, due dates, any Custom Fields etc.
Edit Fields: Click on any field you need to update. For example, to change the assignee, click the assignee field and select a different team member. To update a due date or priority, click that field and choose the new value.
Autosave Changes: Changes are saved automatically. Once you edit a field, the new value is immediately visible to your team in the request card.

Export Request Details
Power Users can export the details of individual requests from the Work Management Board into CSV files.
To download a CSV for an individual request:
Click on the request you want to export details from From the Work Management Board, click on a request card to open it in the right-hand detail panel.
Click the Export Icon In the top-right corner of the request detail panel, click the down arrow icon.
Download the CSV A CSV file containing that request’s details will immediately download to your device.

Using Internal and External Comments
Coheso’s Work Management Boards support two types of comments on each request card: internal and external. This allows private team collaboration as well as communication with the requester:
Open Comments Section: Click on a request card to view its details, then scroll to the Comments section. You’ll see sections for Internal Legal Department comments and Requestor comments.
Select Comment Type: Choose the appropriate comment channel. Select Internal Legal Department comments when discussing privately with your team (Power Users), or Requestor Comments to send a message to the requester (Business User).
Submit the Comment: Enter your comment and press Enter. Internal comments will only be visible to your internal team, allowing discussion and next steps to be documented privately. External comments will be visible to the requester in their request view, ensuring they’re kept informed.
