Greeting Message

Power Users can customize the message shown at the start of every new chat in the Coheso Chat App.

Accessing the Greeting Message Settings

To customize the Greeting Message, open the chat interface and navigate to the Settings section found in the left sidebar. Within the Settings, you will see a section labeled Greeting Message.

Customizing Your Greeting Message

You can customize the greeting by typing directly into the editable text box in the Greeting Message section. Include the {user} token anywhere in the message to automatically insert a user's first name when a new chat begins.

Click Save after making changes. The updated greeting applies across your entire organization, and everyone will see it in the new chats right away. You can update it anytime by returning to the same setting.
