Submit Requests to Work Management

Submitting Requests to Coheso’s Work Management System (WMS) enables business users to directly send a request to the legal team, bypassing the AI assistant if needed. Instead of relying solely on AI answers, a user can escalate their query or task (e.g. contract review, compliance question) into a formal request for legal handling. The request is captured in the WMS as a ticket on the work Management board, where it can be tracked and managed through to completion. This ensures that complex or sensitive inquiries get human attention and that the requestor receives updates on the progress. In essence, Submit Requests to Work Management provides a seamless hand-off from an AI conversation to the legal team’s workflow, with automatic status updates back to the business user.

Submitting a Request via Chat

Business users have the option to bypass Coheso’s AI assistant and submit a request directly to the legal team. When a request is submitted manually, it appears on the Work Management board for the legal team to review.

Initiate a New Request: In the Chat Interafce, start by clicking the Request tab in the left side panel. This will open the Request Page. From there, You can click the Create Request button.

Select the Intake Form: In the Create Request dialog, choose the appropriate intake form for your request from the Select Intake Form dropdown. Coheso allows legal teams to set up custom intake forms for different request types. Select the form that best matches the nature of your request.

Note: If no custom intake forms have been set up by the legal department, you will only see the default “General Question to the Legal Department” form as an option.

Fill in Request Details and Submit: Once you’ve selected an intake form, fill in the required information on the form.

Viewing Your Requests: Once you enter the Work Management board, you will see a list of your submitted requests on the left-hand panel. Click on a request in this left-hand list to view its submission details and real-time status updates regarding that request’s progress. The right-hand panel will display the Submission Details for the selected request, including information from the intake form.

Tracking Updates and Comments: For requests that are in progress, you can also communicate with your legal team through the Comments section. When you select a request, scroll to the Comments area to read any responses or notes left by your legal team. You may add any additional comments or clarifications for them as well.


What Happens on the Work Management Board

Once a request is submitted, it becomes immediately available for the legal team to review and action in their Work Management board. Power Users have a specialized view where all incoming requests are organized and tracked. The newly submitted request will appear as a card and can be expanded for a detailed view on the board for Power User's review.
